Levant Foundation Establishes the Jamal Daniel Fund for the Study for the Levant at Georgetown University

Houston, TX – The Levant Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Jamal Daniel Fund for the Study of the Levant at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.  This program will support students and scholars in their studies of the Levant Region – its culture, history, society, religion and current political context – as well as provide a platform for policymakers to discuss current and future issues as they pertain to the Levant Region.

A Year in Geneva: Foundation for Interreligious and Intercultural Research and Dialogue Post Doctoral Research Program

Geneva, Switzerland - Thanks to the support of the Levant Foundation, FIIRD is pleased to announce the renewal of the Post Doctoral Program: Interreligious and Intercultural Research and Dialogue.  Support for four fellows will be provided for the 2011-2012 academic year.  The program aims to set up a research group to deepen the understanding among persons of different religions and to bring forth leaders to respond to intercultural and interreligious challenges.
